For makers
The QuestStack badge
Every listing links to its website. Show the badge on your website and your listing link becomes dofollow, so search engines count it as a recommendation.
The rules
- Put the badge on the page that your listing links to. This is usually your home page. The footer is a good place.
- Link to QuestStack without rel="nofollow", rel="ugc" or rel="sponsored". Do not mark the page noindex or nofollow.
- The link must be in the HTML that your server sends. We do not run JavaScript, so a link that a script adds later is not found.
- Use the badge files from QuestStack as they are. You can choose the ember or the light style.
How we check
We load your listing's website address when you select “Verify the badge”, when you save the listing, and then every day. When we find a followed link to QuestStack, your link is dofollow. When the link is gone or marked nofollow, your link becomes nofollow until the badge comes back. If your website cannot load for 14 days, your link also becomes nofollow.
Other choices
You do not have to show the badge. A nofollow link is free and needs nothing. A paid dofollow link for $19 one-time, with no badge, is coming soon. Choose your link when you list a tool or edit a listing.
The code
The listing form gives you this code with a link to your own listing. The code below links to the QuestStack home page, and it also passes the check.
