Scoring Model

Every tool is scored from 0 to 10 across five weighted dimensions: ease of use (20%), feature depth (25%), value for money (20%), support (15%), and integration flexibility (20%).

• 9–10 means unusually strong evidence for the dimension and target buyer.
• 7–8.9 means capable with meaningful constraints or buyer-fit trade-offs.
• 5–6.9 means usable for a narrower situation or with notable implementation risk.
• Below 5 means the available evidence does not support recommending it for the assessed job.

Evidence level

Unless a review explicitly documents a hands-on test, it is a public-source editorial assessment. We use official product pages, pricing pages, documentation, terms, integration directories, and other linked primary sources. Vendor material can establish published features and prices; it cannot independently prove ease of use, support quality, or business results.

When hands-on testing is performed, the review must name the tested workflow, test date, access level, and observed limitations. Marketing-page screenshots are labeled as source evidence and are not presented as authenticated product testing.

Ranking and commercial relationships

Overall review scores and use-case rankings answer different questions. Outcome pages use explicit fit criteria and eligibility rules rather than automatically treating the highest general score as the winner. Affiliate availability does not add points or determine editorial order.

Refresh and corrections

High-intent reviews are targeted for verification every 90 days and after material pricing or product changes. Pages older than that window are marked review due instead of silently changing their date. Offers are removed when they cannot be re-verified. Substantive content dates are kept separate from template deployments.
